Oracle APEX/PL-SQL Developer - Database Design & Maintenance (5-15 yrs)

Job Summary & Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX.

- Architect, design, and optimize complex database schemas, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views for high-performance application/solution.

- Develop and maintain scalable applications on Oracle APEX, implementing business logic, user interfaces (including interactive dashboards and reports), and back-end processes.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in PL/SQL development, ensuring the highest standards of code quality, performance, and security.

- Ensure that all solutions adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and data governance standards.

- Collaborate with business analyst, project manager, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal database and application performance.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in Oracle database development with strong proficiency in PL/SQL.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX , including building complex enterprise applications.

- Deep understanding of relational database design, optimization, and advanced PL/SQL features (cursors, bulk collections, exception handling, etc.).

- Strong experience with SQL tuning, query optimization, and database performance troubleshooting.

- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development technologies for enhancing Oracle APEX applications.

- Experience with Web Services, APIs, and integrating other systems with Oracle databases.

- Exposure to cloud-based Oracle solutions like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Autonomous Database.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
