Job Summary: The HR Manager will oversee and manage various HR functions- Hire to Retire which includes, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws. The HR Manager will work closely with management to ensure that HR strategies align with the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection. Oversee onboarding procedures and ensure a smooth integration for new hires.
  • Payroll Management: Oversee and direct payroll procedures, Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems. Monitor and evaluate employee performance and recommend development plans. Experience with MBO (Management by Objectives) appraisal methods and other performance evaluation systems.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and conflicts, manage grievances, and provide counselling. Ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Compliance and Policies: Ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations. Update and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize developmental programs. Facilitate training sessions and workshops.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and compensation planning. Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in HR reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • HR Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on data.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement. Organize company events and initiatives.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors for services such as insurance, training, and recruitment etc...
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Knowledge and experience in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with HR software systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • International Work Experience: Exposure to or experience in an international or multicultural work environment, preferably with Japanese or other Asian business cultures.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Leadership and Management: Experience in supervisory roles, with strong leadership skills to manage and develop a team.

Additional required skills:

  • Strong understanding of Diversity and Inclusion, labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters in Human Resources.

Experience Required: 10+ years of overall HR experience.

  • 5+ years in progressively responsible HR roles.
  • 3+ years in Labor Relations and Employee Relations.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
