We are looking for a reliable Manager of Quality Assurance to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards in a production company. Help develop, protect, and audit all processes that may impact certain qualities. The Quality Assurance Manager needs to have strong leadership and teamwork skills to build positive relationships with their team (internal and external). Attention to detail is essential for testing products for defects. Furthermore, analytical minds produce better results when analyzing large amounts of data.

ResponsibilitiesDevise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
Monitor all operations that affect quality
Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff
Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
Appraise internal customers requirements and make sure they are satisfied
Report all malfunctions (Product, Process, Packaging) to production executives to ensure immediate action
Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
Review current standards and policies
Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
Ensure all legal standards are met
Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments
Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points (RM and PM IN to FG Out)
To ensure the analytical/microbiology laboratories and Incoming Inspection are in operation mode to support Production and the release of the product
To ensure all raw materials are received, inspected, sampled, and disposition according to procedure
Direct inspection and testing personnel to promote effective control of processes and products
Manage and coaches members of QC lab
Prepare and reviews technical documents and ensure that high standards of product safety and regulatory are executed.
Devise ways of improving the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.
Planning and overseeing the implementation of periodic additive, evaluation of output quality.
Planning and implementation of the periodicity of production processes and providing appropriate solutions for production to reduce or eliminate deflections in the processes.
Undertaking and monitoring good performance, monitoring, and product measurements according to control plans
Grounding, planning and monitoring the implementation of statistical control of processes
Analysis of customer complaints and present RCAs and CAPAs
Check for non-conformists observed in products and perform corrective actions and violations.
Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
Outstanding communication skills
Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
Reliable and Trustworthy
Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.) is a plus
Must have 3 to 5 years of experience, FMCG experience will be preferred
Willingness to travel to vendor (RM and PM Suppliers) locations and Corporate Office location
Other Relevant DetailsRole is based out of Hyderabad at Third Party Manufacturing Location
Involves 35% to 45% travel PAN INDIA
Work week extends from Monday to Saturday
Position Reports to Head of Quality based out of Mumbai Corporate Office
Must be a self starter and have high level of ownership since it s a remote work opportunity
