Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in executing core Operational Risk Issues and Action Plan (IA) Management framework responsibilities by providing support coverage across various Business Units and stakeholders.
- Primary responsibility would be to execute the IA management framework for the US Banks including:
- Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting to various stakeholders requiring excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with large data sets and analytics
- Creation and maintenance of all First Line policies and procedures related to the Banks operational risk activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating them as required.
- Support and management of IA framework sustainability.
- Support the execution of the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program for the US Banks including:
- Review US Banks RCSA AUs inclusive of risks, ratings, and rationales.
- Provides support and guidance to AUCs for CILA, CAM, or other RCSA-related system
- Perform data analysis in support of periodic committee reporting.
- Draft reporting of RCSA Results to Senior Management Committees
- Conduct data reviews and analysis across Operational Risk Frameworks to support execution of the RCSA.
- Participate in QA/QC activities once process is implemented and rolled out
- Support enhancement plans for the RCSA program and developing new strategies to evolve the program as an effective risk management tool.
- Assist in deliverables for US Banks RCSA AUs for the firm-wide Non-Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) program integration.
- Provide support and guidance on risk and control triggers and oversight of completion of triggers.
- Bachelors degree; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in operational risk management, data analytics, audit
