Job Description
We re seeking someone to join our team as (Title) Vice President - JAVA lead in the Delta One Structured Products IT group. This is a global middle-office team that supports the global OTC Equity Swap Portfolio, Single Name, and Index derivative businesses. This is an exciting role for a self-starter who has a thirst for new challenges as well as new technologies.
This is a hands-on senior role, and the candidate should have previously demonstrated the leadership of a small or sizeable team in addition to proficiency with hands-on development activities. The candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the delivery of initiatives / projects. The candidate should possess good analytical skills, strong software engineering skills, a logical approach to problem solving, be able to work in a fast-paced environment liaising with demanding stakeholders to understand complex requirements, have experience in complex data domains and be able to prioritize work under pressure with minimal supervision.
To succeed, the candidate will need to be strong technically, actively hands-on with an ability to understand low level detail and logic as well as having strong software architectural knowledge combined with Java/Spring/Database/Highly concurrent systems.
