Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor (Finance) to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. The role involves conducting financial audits, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The auditor will evaluate financial transactions, stock, inventory, and warehouse operations to identify risks and improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Auditing & Compliance:

• Perform internal audits of financial statements, transactions, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Review financial controls, cash flows, and expense management to detect discrepancies and potential fraud.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and legal requirements.
• Monitor adherence to company policies and recommend improvements to mitigate financial risks.

2. Inventory & Stock Audit:

• Conduct stock audits in warehouses and production facilities to verify physical inventory against records.
• Assess stock movement, storage conditions, and expiry tracking to minimize losses and
  inefficiencies.
• Investigate stock variances, pilferage, and discrepancies in stock reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with Good Storage Practices (GSP) and pharmaceutical industry regulations.

3. Warehouse & Supply Chain Audit:

• Audit warehouse processes, including procurement, receiving, dispatch, and distribution.
• Evaluate warehouse security, storage conditions, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assess vendor contracts, purchase orders, and supplier payment processes for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process optimizations in supply chain operations.

4. Risk Assessment & Reporting:

• Identify potential risks in financial and operational areas, proposing risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective action
  plans.
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure corrective actions are
  implemented.
• Present audit findings to senior management and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA inter, CMA, CPA, or CIA
  certification preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
• It requires a frequent travelling.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, internal controls, and risk management.
• Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, and financial auditing tools.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis, and report writing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with different
  departments.
