Role Objective:

- The role requires the incumbent to build the Packaging category by acquiring & managing relevant brands, vendors & suppliers.

- We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges.

- He will be expected to scale up the Supplier base & vendor operations and ensure optimization of inventory & pricing.

Role Responsibilities:

- Supplier/ Vendor management across different product categories (Packaging) in Industrial/ Business space

- Vendor Onboarding: Adding new vendors and categories proactively by constantly improving Quality, Cost and Delivery terms with suppliers across India

- Driving standardization: Ensuring standardization of products, process and prices

Experience & Qualification:

- 8+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement/ Vendor Management in Packaging space (Pan India)

- Deep knowledge of Paper Bags, CFB Boxes, Tapes, PP & BOPP Bags, Poly bags & compostable bags, pallets - wooden boxes sourcing.

- Technically & commercially sound across all these categories.

- Excellent vendor development skills. Should have deep-rooted networks in the supplier markets, pertaining to B2B/ Industrial space

- BTech (preferably Mechanical or Chemical)

- MBA/PGDM- Tier1/2/3/ IIP
