Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities

• To maintain books of account as per system define by corp showing true & fair view of the plant operations.
• Maintaining accounting Records like Sales, Purchases, Bank, Cash & Journal Vouchers.
• Coordination with the HR Dept. for monthly salary payment & EPF & ESI challan deposit.
• Reconciliation of GST with books & returns.
• Monthly bank reconciliation.
• To ensure timely invoicing and challans for customer & jobwork/suppliers.
• To ensure daily FICO & SD activity in SAP.
• Coordination with the HO for suppliers payment & government dues.
• Reconciliation of debtors & creditors.
• Filling of GST returns monthly & annually by due date.
• Filling of TDS returns - quarterly & annually for all MAL plants.
• To ensure Liaison with external auditors for finalization of annual audited balance sheet & income tax return with corporate finance.
• Coordinating internal auditor at the time of audit.
• Assessment of sale tax/Vat cases.
• To apply for vat refunds (if any).
• Monthly deposit of TDS and other government dues by due dates.
• To check & approve all the payments before processing.
• To ensure safe keeping and storage of accounting records by implementation of filing, safe keeping and search system of all accounting records as defined by corp. accounts head.
• To ensure digitalization of all records on monthly basis.
• To circulate MIS (as defined from time to time) & get it reviewed with the plant Head & corp Finance & Accounts Head.
• 5S implementation in offices & record storage area.
• Any other responsibility assign by management time to time.
• To develop successor through 2nd line employees.

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualification should be CA
• Preferring candidate from Chandigarh and nearby
