Transition & Steady State Project Manager - Data Analytics Application Support
Key responsibilities:
Hands-on comprehensive experience in managing projects/program which involve Production Support and maintenance of Data lake/DWH Environments
Hands-on experience on ITIL processes
Well-versed with Outage, Incident triaging, coordination, communication etc. in production support environment.
Managing the team supporting ETL and BI experts
Technical know how on Data lake/DWH, Tableau, Qlik, Azure Cloud, ADF, Synapse, SSIS, Talend, Power BI
Experience in Due Diligence, Planning and execution of transition projects
Build customized and detailed transition plan and execute it.
Manage technical teams to propose creative solutions that deliver substantial value to clients. Drive various technical team and technology track during transformation of services.
Drive all the Phases (Knowledge acquisition, Secondary & Primary support and Steady State) and be the SPOC for all the escalations/queries for the customers during transformation/transition.
Conduct workshops with customer to walk through the Transition Framework whenever required.
Conduct gap analysis from due diligence vs. actual transition/transformation.
Utilize project management methodologies keeping focus on business objectives and results. Introduce Innovative business solutions to solve client pain points.
Directly responsible for the success of transition and steady state phase of production support project focused on Data & Analytics Technology Stack.
Responsible for global communication with management, program teams, service delivery team, quality, and vendors; serve as liaison between the business community and the IT organization with the goal of providing technical solutions and meet business strategic goals.
Establish clearly articulated Service Governance, Service Management, Escalation Governance and Business Change Control Models.
Be successful in negotiation with customers on change requests for the scope creep items and new solutions during transition and steady state phase.
Work in partnership with Sales Teams, Solution Architects, Service Delivery, Finance, HR and Legal to manage all phases of technical solution development during the transition cycle to qualify all critical milestones of contract and turn over to service delivery.
Responsible for Planning, lead and manage the transition and steady state portion of engagements while ensuring engagement profitability, customer satisfaction, and effective staff utilization.
Must Haves:
Ideal candidate should have completed at least 3 successful transitions and transformations of projects
Understanding of Service Management process of Incident, Problem and change
Should be good team player and experience in handling remote teams spread across geographies.
Should have extensive exposure in interacting with Europe and US based customer.
Should be well versed with MPP or any other tool for managing the transition.
Should have experience in handling Data & Analytics Projects , Support Team for Data. & Analytics
Should have technical experience in Data & Analytics
