Order Management Operations Specialist

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Core Expertise:

• Good telecom domain knowledge
• Should demonstrate hands-on experience SQL and PL/SQL
• Should be aware of order management lifecycle and order orchestration in telecom domain.
• Should have good hands-on experience in analyzing and troubleshooting XML messages

Technical Skills:

• Experience in Linux/Unix environments for system monitoring and script execution.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, or Perl) for automation.
• Should have strong hands-on experience of Oracle SQL & PL/SQL for querying and managing data.

Operational Skills:

• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, engineering, provisioning, billing, Siebel etc to resolve order discrepancies and delays.
• Liaise with external partners, vendors, or carriers to ensure the delivery of telecom services as per SLAs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline order management processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes, workflows, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a problem-solving mindset.
• Ensure timely communication and follow-ups to resolve order-related issues.
• Should be aware of ITSM processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
