About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. WordPress Developer with at least 3 years of experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in creating custom themes and plugins, optimizing performance, and ensuring high-quality, responsive designs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop responsive WordPress websites from scratch or customize existing themes and plugins.

- Create custom WordPress themes and templates to meet specific project requirements.

- Develop and modify WordPress plugins to enhance functionality.

- Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

- Ensure compatibility with modern browsers, mobile responsiveness, and cross-platform functionality.

- Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

- Implement security measures to safeguard websites against vulnerabilities.

- Stay updated with the latest WordPress updates, tools, and trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Proven 5+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer.

- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Experience with theme and plugin development/customization.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating third-party services.

- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks like Bootstrap.

- Knowledge of database management, especially MySQL.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting websites using tools like Chrome DevTools.

- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and tools like Yoast SEO.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) :

- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.

- Understanding of WordPress multisite setups.

- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms like WooCommerce.

- Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
