Stay updated with changes in legislation and case law that may impact the organization

Contract Review and Drafting: Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, including contracts, leases, licenses, and vendor agreements

Ensure compliance with legal requirements and protect the organization's interests

Legal Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies

Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures to mitigate legal risks

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify legal risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies

Advise management on potential legal implications of business decisions and proposed courses of action

Legal Documentation: Prepare and maintain legal documents, including corporate records, resolutions, and legal correspondence

Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents with relevant authorities

Dispute Resolution: Assist in managing legal disputes, including conducting research, preparing legal arguments, and coordinating with external counsel

Support the organization in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation or arbitration

Intellectual Property Protection: Assist in the protection and management of intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents

Conduct searches, file applications, and monitor infringement issues

Compliance Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver legal training programs to employees to enhance legal awareness and promote compliance with laws and regulations

Keep employees informed about legal developments relevant to their roles

Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance activities, including maintaining corporate records, assisting in board meetings, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements

Legal Advice and Counsel: Provide legal advice and counsel to management and business units on various legal matters, including contract interpretation, employment law, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance

Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as other departments, senior management, and external legal counsel, to address legal issues and ensure alignment with business objectives

Legal Research and External Engagement: Stay informed about legal trends, changes in regulations, and industry-specific legal issues

Engage with external legal professionals and industry associations to stay updated and leverage external expertise
