Security Head - Army Background - Greenfield Manufacturing Firm (15-25 yrs)

We are looking for a retired Col/Lt Col for a post of Security Head for a famous Manufacturing Plant, based in Dahej location.

It is for a greenfield project.

Responsibilities:

- This role is responsible for security and fire safety of the entire premises, its plants and equipment, storage facilities, workforce as well as the assets and lives within the colony and needs to plan and implement security measures through continuous monitoring, implementation of statutory guidelines and Company norms and corrective and preventive action including up gradation of facilities.

- Special focus needs to be given on prevention of pilferage of the high value products and by-products like copper, gold and silver. Deployment and monitoring of contractual security

- Personnel and drivers have to be done effectively. All areas of the establishment need to be kept protected against fire hazard and plan of action needs to be kept ready in case of

- Accident. Data related to critical reportable incidents having security implications, need to be collected from managers and team members, analysed and appropriate corrective and

- Preventive action taken. In view of the hazardous nature the Plant and nearness to port and

- Chemical zone, disaster management is a very critical element of the role. This role is also responsible for the security of materials in transit to the warehouse or customers, as

- Applicable as well as for incoming high value material from contracted warehouses.
