SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 0 to 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering and strong programming skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation and scripting. Experience with TestRigor will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to identify test scenarios and ensure product quality.
• Design, develop, and implement test frameworks and automation solutions.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and work on debugging issues.
• Ensure continuous integration (CI/CD) and test automation best practices.
• Work with various automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
• Document test cases, results, and automation processes for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Java OR Python OR JavaScript, or C#.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.

Good to Have (Added Advantage):
• Experience with TestRigor or other codeless automation tools.
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, etc.).
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing basics.
• Experience with database testing and writing SQL queries.
