Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

As a Software Test Engineer at Spectacom Global, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital platforms that support our flagship events and innovative fitness solutions.Our team thrives on innovation, collaboration, and a shared passion for sports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Perform functional, regression, usability, application, unit, load, and API testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.

- Develop automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.

- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing.

- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.

- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (preferred).

- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- ISTQB Certification or equivalent.

- Experience in mobile application testing.

- Performance and security testing experience.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
