Training Manager-QSR Restaurant Operation

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the training function for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our restaurant staff, driving sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Analysis:

- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skills gaps and training requirements for restaurant staff.

- Collaborate with Operations Managers to determine training objectives and outcomes.

Training Design and Development:

- Design and develop training programs, including content, materials, and delivery methods, to meet the needs of restaurant staff.

- Create training manuals, guides, and other supporting materials.

Training Delivery:

- Deliver training programs to restaurant staff, either in-person or virtually, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Onboarding and Training of New Hires:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding and training programs for new hires to ensure they are equipped to succeed in their roles.

Training Evaluation and Metrics:

- Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs.

- Analyze training metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to Operations Managers.

Collaboration with Operations Team:

- Collaborate with Operations Managers to ensure training programs are aligned with operational objectives and goals.

- Provide training support to Operations Managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Training, or related field.

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a QSR environment.

- Proven track record of success in designing and delivering effective training programs.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

- Ability to travel to restaurants to deliver training and support.

Nice to Have:

- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CTT+).

- Experience with e-learning platforms and authoring tools.

- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design principles.
