Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions, including but not limited to:

• Core Accounting Functions:
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally
• Processing accounts payable and receivable
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of journal entries
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement)
• Maintaining fixed asset register
• Handling petty cash and reimbursements
• Taxation:
• Assisting with TDS/TCS filings
• Coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants
• Other Duties:
• Providing support to other departments as needed
• Maintaining confidentiality of all financial information
• Staying abreast of changes in accounting standards and tax laws

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 is mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
