1. Job Details
Job Title Assistant Director- Digital Marketing
Area Administration
Location Pune
2. Job Purpose
The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
and would be proficient in CRM and performance marketing tools. The candidate should have setup, run,
and managed performance marketing campaigns with at least 3cr budget
3. Key Accountability
Strategic
• Support in Design and execute the Digital Marketing plan for the university and
its various programs Operational
• Establish the end-to-end digital marketing capabilities and strategy that aligns with the needs and
goals of the institution
• Lead the implementation of these capabilities, such as media planning and buying, search,
conversion rate optimisation and data and analytics to support future business growth.
• Should lead the development and optimisation of landing pages and CRM to track and improve the
success of performance marketing campaigns
• Working alongside Senior Stakeholders from the university, Marketing Team, Academicians,
Events Team etc. to establish a best of breed approach to the use of marketing technology.
• Work closely with the technology team to ensure that the marketing technology strategy aligns with
the organisations broader digital strategy and efforts for events and non-admissions lead generation
campaign. The role from time to time would also extend to (but not be limited to) campaign
requirements for allied entities in MAEERs group such as schools, hospitals, other universities etc.
• Lead the analytics and reporting function in digital campaigns with a focus on optimisation.
• Develop and lead the implementation of the longer-term data and analytics capability, in
consultation with the relevant marketing and business leaders.
• Establish best practices around the use of data and analytics to inform marketing and campaign
effectiveness and lead our overall approach to use of digital marketing agencies.
• Work with other team members to hit organizational goals and objectives.
• Manage end to end content creation for all digital channels Financial and Budget

  • Marketing budget planning and monitor expenditures (how much, where & how) to allow
    better planning and resources
    • Develop marketing plans and budgets for each social initiative and promotional activities

    • Relationship building with Media Houses – National as well as International
    • Stakeholder Communication - Employees / Parents / Students / Government / Bureaucrats
    / NGOs / International Agencies
    Academic
    • Research and benchmarking in the areas of responsibilities

    Substantial leadership and management experience
    • Should be a team player who has a warm collaborative nature, positive energy, sense of
    humor, possess superior organization and prioritization skills and is self-motivated in the
    completion of his/her work.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including outstanding writing and
    public speaking skills and the ability to interact comfortably with a variety of people External relations and Corporate engagement
    The ability to advocate at the highest levels regionally and nationally on behalf of
    the University and to influence the decision maker

    Minimum Qualification & Experience
    • The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in any field supplemented with strong credentials in
    performance marketing for programmatic buying, Google campaigns, Social media marketing as well
    as publishing partnerships. Certification programs or relevant equivalent experience required.
    Experience: A candidate for this position must have had experience of at least 10 years in digital
    design, website management, online marketing, paid marketing, and media planning preferably

working in the position of a senior performance marketing manager at a digital first advertising/
marketing agency.
• The candidate should have handled a team and should have groomed the team to showcase
individual growth as well as business growth.
• Extensive experience implementing and working with marketing technology such as Salesforce
Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, HubSpot, Lead squared, Brand watch, Microsoft Dynamix etc.
• Experience in the implementation of data and analytics strategies.
• Experience in media planning and buying, lead generation and acquisition strategies, ideally in the
Education sector.
• Experience in leading teams and working with a wide range of stakeholders – including line
management, faculty, brand and technology
