Cloud Migration Architect/Lead (2-4 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Cloud Migration Architect/Lead to join our growing team.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex cloud migration projects for our clients.

You will play a key role in assessing, planning, designing, and implementing cloud migration strategies across various cloud platforms, primarily AWS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, planning, and execution of large-scale cloud migration projects.

- Conduct thorough assessments of on-premise environments to identify migration risks and opportunities.

- Develop and document comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including architectural designs, migration plans, and timelines.

- Lead the selection and implementation of appropriate migration tools and technologies.

- Manage and monitor all aspects of the migration process, including data migration, application re platforming/re-architecting, and infrastructure provisioning.

- Ensure the security, compliance, and performance of cloud-based environments.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Mentor and guide junior team members.

- Stay abreast of the latest cloud computing technologies and best practices.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of cloud migration methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong expertise in cloud design, deployment, and architecture.

- Proven experience in leading and executing large-scale cloud migration projects (1500+ VMs).

- Deep understanding of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools and programs, particularly AWS-MAP.

- Experience with migrating various on-premise resources, including infrastructure, applications, databases, and more.

- Expertise in migrating physical servers, VMs, VDI, Storage, Active Directory, and Firewall to AWS.

- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e., VMware, VMC on AWS).

- Experience with data center exit projects and DC consolidation projects.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and create and follow SOPs/Run Books.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

- Experience with Azure or GCP migrations.

- Familiarity with other Hyperscaler programs (e., Azure AMPP).

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks (e., ISO 27001, SOC 2).

- Relevant certifications (e., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
