Technical Support Engineer - CDC Configuration (5-7 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide exceptional support for our clients' critical data replication processes.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of HVR/Fivetran CDC environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Respond promptly to incidents and service requests related to HVR/Fivetran CDC.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Escalate critical issues to appropriate teams as needed.

- Identify and analyze root causes of recurring issues.

- Implement preventive measures to minimize future incidents.

- Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and documentation.

- Configure and optimize HVR/Fivetran CDC environments.

- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, upgrades, and security patches.

- Validate data integrity and consistency across source and target systems.

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms.

- Identify and resolve data quality issues.

- Provide excellent customer support, including clear communication and timely resolution of issues.

- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 4+ years of experience in technical support or engineering roles.

- In-depth knowledge of HVR/Fivetran CDC processes, including various types of CDC replication.

- Strong understanding of HVR HUB configuration and HVR Agent setup.

- Experience in connecting diverse data sources to HVR.

- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
