Position : Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview :
We are looking for a seasoned Technical Support Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of software applications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance application performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, PL/SQL, and Incident Management Tools, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software applications promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis for tickets and implement appropriate solutions.
- Escalate critical issues to Senior Engineers when necessary.
- Ensure effective front-end and back-end functionality of software applications.
- Manage code migration across environments to ensure synchronized functionality.
- Conduct sanity testing for releases and live deployment testing.
- Analyze application functionality and recommend improvements to enhance performance.
- Consult with the software development team, internal users, and clients to optimize application performance.
- Test applications to ensure high-quality standards and resolve any issues or queries.
- Provide quality assurance support throughout the software lifecycle.
- Liaise with vendors and Principal personnel for incident management and release deployments.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the Indian Stock Market and Depository domains (added advantage).
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 5+ years in a technical support or software engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Incident Management Tools.
