We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Mind and Brain Hospital
As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional psychiatric and behavioral care to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges
This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is suitable for candidates with less than 1 year of experience.
Qualifications And Skills
MD or equivalent degree in Psychiatry
Valid license to practice Psychiatry
Good understanding of child and adolescent development and psychopathology
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards the needs of children and adolescents
Strong ethical and professional standards
Roles And Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents to assess mental health needs
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with other members of the treatment team
Provide evidence-based psychiatric interventions, including medication management and psychotherapy, to address mental health concerns
Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care
Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Stay current with advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry through ongoing education and professional development
