5+ years of professional experience in an Operations Support or Production Support environment on system administration.
Strong Troubleshooting skills in managing Linux servers (Red hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora etc.) performance issues & health checks.
Should have experience in Linux server patching and upgrades.
Should have experience in Repository Creation and management.
Should have exceptionally valuable experience in Shell scripting and configuration management (Ansible).
Experience in Open LDAP, Certificate management, Apache Tomcat, Jboss.
Familiarity with load balancing and firewall etc.
In-depth knowledge and production experience with VMware vSphere Enterprise.
Proficiency in setting up and maintaining of production VMware DRS, HA, storage/network multipath.
Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting and capacity planning of vSphere environment.
Strong understanding of VMware architecture design principles and best practices.
Should have experience on monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Datadog.
Should be able to work with IT infrastructure SME teams to troubleshoot P1 & P2 incidents.
Facilitate investigation of complex technical issues, work with vendors if needed & evaluate RCA s.
Good to have knowledge on Cloud models like Azure & AWS.
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to work in a team-oriented & collaborative culture.
Consistent track record in bringing innovative ideas and its implementation to improve the overall effectiveness of NOC.
Good Experience in managing Active Directory, DNS, DFS, DHCP & Microsoft 365.
Experience in ITIL Processes i.e., Incident/Problem/Change/Event Management
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Tools, Service Now, Reporting
Good communication & interpersonal skills.
Skill Set Tools: Linux OS RHEL/Ubuntu/Debian, VMWare & Hyper-V, Windows OS 2019,2016,2012, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, SolarWinds, Nagios, Databases.
