As the Senior Regional Procurement Compliance Officer at Micron Technology, you will manage the regional procurement compliance programs and be accountable for ensuring that Micron operates within legal, regulatory and industry standards regarding procurement activities in India. You will collaborate with your team members and customers across Micron s global sites, drive monitoring and assess compliance with internal policies and external requirements, identify compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies for the India operations. You will participate in cross-functional initiatives in managing and supervising compliance and establish a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance
Establish and implement a comprehensive compliance and risk management framework for procurement activities at India sites including monitoring, detection, and controls as needed to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
Work with government regulators concerning regulations applicable to procurement transactions and contracting.
Provide guidance on approach and standard methodologies on contracting and associated risk management in India in both construction and operating phases of the project.
Act as point of contact and representative for regulatory and customer audits regarding procurement and RBA compliance at India sites.
Apply deep solid understanding of all relevant policies and regulations to maintain compliance of procurement operations.
Apply knowledge of Micron products and/or business processes to support compliance activities by Micron team members, suppliers, and customers.
Connect with the Responsible Business Alliance code of conduct implementation team to ensure appropriate coverage of India sites and adherence to the code.
Work with the product compliance organization and ensure product compliance requirements are implemented at the India production site.
Reporting, Auditing, and Program Administration
Ensure compliance to the Micron Code of Conduct and RBA Code of Conduct.
Perform assurance activities including regular audits of procurement activities and resulting data.
Apply strong attention to detail to reporting, auditing and investigations.
Manage compliance programs using an organized and results-focused approach to achieve all goals within budget, timeline and scope constraints.
Establish and update policies and procedures concerning compliance when needed.
Deliver training for Procurement team members and key customers on policies, responsibilities, and expectations.
Customer Engagement & Business Partnering
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, regulatory agencies and business partners to ensure compliance.
Translate communicated needs and requirements into action plans and reports.
Articulate expectations and actions needed to maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Support Global Procurement Compliance communication efforts.
Act as point of contact and facilitator for any local audits (internal or external) regarding procurement activities associated with India sites.

Qualifications & Skills:
Master s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, finance, accounting, internal audit or a related field. Compliance, auditor or CFE certification preferred.
15+ years of procurement compliance-related experience preferably on large-scale construction projects or operations in India or Asia.
Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred.
Proficiency in O365, Sharepoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing in Asia or other non-US locations is preferred.
Proven experience working effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
