Assistant Manager - Business Development Specialist
- Working closely with the BD manager, BD specialist will support Forvis Mazars' BD efforts in its priority sectors and Key Accounts by ensuring the account teams and Client relationship leads have access to all the relevant information needed to be effective in the market.
- You will attend meetings, ensure activity and actions are captured and ensure all actions are followed up and accounts move forward.
- The individual we are looking for is a natural problem solver with close attention to detail and a can do attitude.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills are a must, as is the ability and desire to drive activity for the good of the firm.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with the BD Director/Manager to support the Key accounts by ensuring all accounts have achievable account plan in place and a strategy for growth.
- Ensure account and sector teams come together regularly to discuss the client and how we can support them and provide sales operations support.
- Capture actions and chase to ensure activities are delivered.
- Complete research into key markets or specific accounts to identify trends or opportunities.
- Ensure all Sector pipelines are reviewed regularly and maintained accurately.
- Build relationships with Client Relationship Leads and sector leads to ensure you understand their requirements to allow he ability to improve support and enable sales excellence.
- Be the conduit to the offshore pursuits team to leverage the full suite of capabilities to improve the client experience and enable sale excellence.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience of working with and supporting client teams and sales teams.
- Strong problem solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Ability to manage or support multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to develop effective working relationships with and where appropriate influence senior stakeholders.
