The Autosar SME is a critical role responsible for providing deep technical expertise in AUTOSAR standards and automotive software engineering.
This individual will act as the go-to expert, advising on best practices, leading the resolution of complex technical issues, and guiding the development team towards achieving excellence in AUTOSAR-based projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the primary technical authority on AUTOSAR standards, tools, and methodologies within the organization.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the integration, configuration, and optimization of AUTOSAR BSW modules.
- Lead the analysis and resolution of complex technical challenges in automotive software projects.
- Conduct in-depth technical reviews and audits to ensure adherence to AUTOSAR standards and best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical training sessions on AUTOSAR for development teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine project requirements and technical specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, quality, and innovation in AUTOSAR-based development.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, integration guides, and architecture diagrams.
- Participate in industry forums and technical working groups to stay abreast of the latest AUTOSAR developments and trends.
- Advocate for the adoption of advanced tools and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Lead technical discussions with customers, providing insights and solutions that meet their business needs.
- Ensure technical solutions are aligned with project goals, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
Technologies to be used : Extensive experience with AUTOSAR architecture and tools (e.g., KSAR, Davinci, EBTresos), Embedded C, Assembly Language, diagnostic/communication protocols (CAN, UDS, Ethernet, J1939), debugging and analysis tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANstress).
Qualifications : Engineering degree with 12-15 years of experience in automotive system/software engineering, with a significant focus on AUTOSAR standards and implementations.
Knowledge : Deep understanding of Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems, ASPICE, ISO26262, MISRA Guidelines, and comprehensive knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture.
Skills : Exceptional expertise in AUTOSAR standards and automotive software engineering, strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, proficient in technical documentation and communication.
Attitude : Demonstrates leadership, excellent communication skills, a proactive and solution-oriented approach, commitment to technical excellence, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
