Technical Lead - Android AOSP (5-8 yrs)

Brief Overview :

We are on the lookout for a Technical Lead with a strong background in Android middleware and embedded systems to spearhead the development and implementation of our Connected Vehicles products.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving technical strategies, product development, and enhancing customer satisfaction through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Technical Planning : Lead the creation of detailed product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Develop and refine software architectures to meet evolving needs.

Customer Engagement : Actively work with customers to understand their requirements and convert them into viable technical solutions, aiming to surpass satisfaction targets.

Technical Leadership and Mentorship : Enhance the capabilities of the team by offering mentorship, optimizing processes, and leading technical impact analyses to improve product design and performance.

Innovation : Champion the adoption of automation and toolchains, creating a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Solution Crafting : Design and present sophisticated technical solutions to tackle complex issues, ensuring accurate task estimation and planning.

Technologies :

- Expertise in the Android AOSP build system, including framework and HAL development

- Proficient in communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS

- Strong command over programming languages, particularly C++ and Linux

- Familiarity with Yocto Build system and CI/CD processes

Qualifications :

- Engineering degree in a relevant field

- 5-8 years of experience in system/software engineering, with a preference for candidates with a background in the Automotive/Aerospace sectors

Knowledge and Skills :

- Deep understanding of Android middleware and embedded systems

- Knowledge of configuration and change management practices

- Excellent proficiency in C++ and Linux

- Solid experience with Android AOSP, framework, and HAL development

- Good grasp of communication protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS)

- Experience in Yocto Build and CI/CD processes
