Senior Subject Matter Expert - Connected Vehicles (15-17 yrs)

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership: Lead and inspire a large team of engineers and architects towards achieving excellence in product development and innovation.

- Strategy Development: Chart the strategic direction for the Connected Vehicles practice, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and market demands.

- Innovation and Research: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge and meet evolving customer needs.

- Client Engagement: Serve as a key technical advisor to high-value clients, translating complex requirements into actionable strategies and solutions.

- Process Optimization: Oversee the enhancement of engineering processes, automation, and toolchain integration to improve efficiency and product quality.

- Thought Leadership: Establish oneself as a thought leader in the field through contributions to industry forums, publications, and innovation think tanks.

Technologies to be used:

- Advanced Android AOSP build system, Framework, and HAL development techniques

- Expertise in communication protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS

- Advanced programming skills in C++, Linux

- Proficiency in Yocto Build and CI/CD processes

Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field

- 15+ years of experience in system/software engineering, with a significant portion in leadership roles within the Automotive/Aerospace industries

Knowledge:

- Comprehensive knowledge of Android middleware, embedded systems, and the latest technological trends in the automotive sector

- Deep understanding of configuration and change management methodologies
