Engineering Operator - Utility (water/ HVAC/ Boiler)

Role & responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor all equipment on the Boilers, HVAC, and Water System by distillation process.

2. Perform other duties as outlined by supervisor or Manager.

3. Performs skilled work in the operation of high pressure boilers and other auxiliary equipment that provide the required flow of steam for heating and cooling of buildings and facilities on a continuous around-the-clock basis.

4. Having in depth and thorough knowledge on Operations, maintenance and qualifications of Purified Water Generation and Distribution System, Multi Column Distillation plant, WFI Distribution system, Pure Steam Generation.

5. Should conduct calibration of instruments, general, preventive and predictive maintenance of Boiler/ HVAC/ Water System as per the required frequency to ensure equipment are in continuous operation and reducing downtime, to improve the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

6. Maintains and operates the HVAC Control System and other building mechanical systems associated with the HVAC system.

7. Responds on timely manner to scheduled, unscheduled and preventive maintenance work orders generated by the department/s and completes work orders within the pre-determined service standards time frame; documents materials and labor used to complete each work order, and returns completed work orders and closeout.

8. Shall be responsible for improving productivity of the area/ equipment by ensuring:

• Involvement in maintaining own equipment while emphasizing proactive and preventive maintenance techniques following, I OWN, I MAINTAIN, I OPERATE philosophy that will lead to, Zero (0) breakdowns, No stops or running slowly, No defects and no accidents (Autonomous Maintenance)
• Routine primary maintenance like Cleaning, Lubricating and Inspection, Tightening and Adjustments (CLITA),

9. Preparation / or review the engineering Operational related SOPs.

Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP and ISO), safety policies, and good housekeeping and that safety and hazard practices are understood and implemented
