Ensure production process parameters meet standard process procedures and note any inconsistencies
Ensure that molds, cutters and conveyors are clear and free from humidity by performing one trial run prior to production start
Examine production lines to see if they conform to hygienic standards prior to production start and halt those that do not conform to standards, informing Assistant Manager - Quality Control
Check ingredient type and weight against standard process procedures
Perform on-line production quality inspections that entail reading, such as net weight, percentage (%) of moisture, wrapping and sealing property and by collecting samples from each production line on daily basis
Assess finished products in terms of quality and conformity of labeling and packaging to standards and regulations. Ensure that labeling discloses net weight, production and expiry dates, nutritional facts and other important information in both Arabic and English. Ensure packaging is user friendly and conforms to standards
Check physical testing of finished products and ensure that they are within standards
Visually inspect samples of empty containers and packages before filling point, for defects and cleanliness
Coordinate and maintain calibration schedules for all mechanical measuring equipment
Prepare inspection reports, highlighting non-conformance items, for review and scrutiny by Assistant Manager - Quality Control or higher management.
Inform the Assistant Manager - Quality Control of any deviation from quality standards in order to investigate and correct cause of problem.
