Job Description

- We are looking for an experienced SFCC architect to join our Ecommerce team.
- Provide architectural oversight for development in the SFCC platform
- Provide analysis and recommendations on the design of ecommerce systems
- Integrate components built by developers and ensure architectural integrity of the system
- Design and document integrations that adhere to best practices in technology, features, performance and scalability
- Development of new plugins
- Advanced performance optimization for high traffic environment
- Build APIs that will integrate with all majors ERP, CRM and other systems
- Document technical and functional specifications
- Guide and mentor team members
What you'll bring
- Has been part of minimum two SFCC implementations
- Has led SFCC implementation
- Must have working experience with SFRA
- Preference with working experience on Headless version of SFCC
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with backend services
- In-depth understanding of SLAS in SFCC
- Strong understanding of SCAPI and OCAPI
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage
- Proficient in version control systems like Git, with experience in collaborative environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively and meet deadlines
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with Agile Methodology (SCRUM concepts)
- Must have SFCC Developer/Architect certification
- Ability to innovate and to effectively deal with rapid change in a positive manner
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
- Nice to have experience in HCL Commerce, SAP Commerce cloud, Magento and DevOps
