Job Description
We are seeking a Public Relations and Marketing Manager to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs.
Job Responsibilities Duties
Identify research needs, execute research studies and projects, and analyze research in order to identify opportunities
Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media
Create, execute, and manage marketing programs and campaigns
Handle social media platforms to engage audiences across traditional and new media
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
Define and manage the brand communication strategy using a variety of media
Own the development and messaging of the brand narrative
Coordinate all public relations activities
Manage media inquiries and interview requests
Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
Requirements and Academic qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
2-5 years of experience in PR, brand management, brand marketing, or marketing management
Proven ability to work cross-functionally
Experience managing a brand across multiple markets
Creative thinker and problem solver
Strong communication skills
Great verbal and writing skills
Project management experience, with a solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends
