Job Description

Position: Exports Manager Steel Industry

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in export sales in steel and related products.


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Exports Manager to lead our global sales efforts in the steel industry. This role is crucial in expanding our international market presence, driving revenue growth, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in export sales, particularly within the steel sector, and the ability to build lasting relationships with international clients.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Export Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive export sales of steel products, targeting new and existing international markets.
  • Set and achieve revenue and market expansion goals in alignment with the company's

growth objectives.

2. Global Market Development:

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize new markets, ensuring the companys strong presence in

high-potential regions.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about market trends

and industry shifts.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with global customers and distributors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all international client interactions, providing exceptional service and timely solutions.

4. Contract Negotiation and Risk Management:

  • Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with international clients to ensure

profitable agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export documentation, and risk mitigation strategies.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to align

export activities with overall business goals.

  • Ensure smooth coordination of international shipments, deliveries, and supply chain

logistics.

6. Reporting and Performance Analysis:

  • Track and report on export sales performance, providing insights to senior leadership to

support strategic decision-making.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust sales strategies as needed to meet

evolving market conditions.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors/ Masters degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Proven success in driving sales growth and expanding market share in international markets.
  • Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
