Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and requirements in order to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Efficient in handling a team.
  • Prepare documents required for the completion of sales, including sales quotation, PO, WO and PI
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure the smooth production and delivery of orders
  • Prepare the MIS for sales quotation and Proforma invoice
  • Share details with customers as and when required, including details on dispatch, PI, insurance etc.
  • Update daily sheets for open and dispatched orders, payment details and orders in production
  • Provide product information and sales support to customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring regular communication and addressing customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and technical support, to coordinate customer requests and provide timely resolutions.
  • Meet sales targets and objectives by actively promoting products and services to potential customers.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to existing customers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the sales team.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Should be well verse about sales coordination for Domestic and International
  • Knowledge of tender documentation and submission on GEM and various other portals.


Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to understand and address customer needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (SAP) and MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
