Key skills for the job
1. To identify and generate opportunities for the sales of spectrometers.
2. To identify newer market needs and new opportunity areas and devise means for penetration.
3. Create, maintain & update vital information as required from time to time - regarding the client/plant.
4. To be alert to new expansions/projects coming up in the area, to identify the potential for the relevant product range, identify and contact key parties/persons, closely monitor developments and define & execute actions accordingly.
5. To monitor competition activities, their strengths, weaknesses and strategies and to monitor/record lost opportunities & their reasons
6. Follow-up with teams / Customers related to sales
7. Provide documentation for after sales support to the user and to ensure payment recoveries within the agreed terms of order.
8. Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, manage leads, and generate reports. Customize Salesforce to improve sales workflows and enhance data management.
9. Offer in-depth knowledge of Spectrometers to address client queries, conduct needs assessments, and propose suitable solutions.
Preferred Candidate:
1. Candidate with B2B Sales experience from foundry or metal industry, preferred sales experience would be of spectrometers or similar product (combination of mechanical & electronics).
2. Good communication both verbal and written along with presentation skills, good negotiation skills.
