Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP Tester with a strong background in SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), FI (Financial Accounting), and CM (Customer Management) modules. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in SAP testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the successful implementation and support of SAP applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- SAP Testing Expertise: Lead and execute SAP testing activities for various SAP modules including MM, SD, FI, and CM.
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scenarios based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Test Execution: Perform functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing for SAP applications, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and report defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Documentation: Create detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports, ensuring clear traceability of results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business analysts to validate test requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
- Automation Testing: Collaborate on automation testing efforts and support the implementation of automated testing tools, as applicable.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to the testing process, including tools, techniques, and frameworks to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills Qualifications:
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in SAP Testing, with in-depth knowledge of SAP MM, SD, FI, and CM modules.
- Testing Tools: Proficient in SAP testing tools (e.g., SAP TAO, HP ALM, JIRA) and testing methodologies.
- SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP business processes in the MM, SD, FI, and CM modules.
- Manual and Automation Testing: Solid experience in both manual and automated testing.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including business users and technical teams.
- Certifications (Optional): SAP Certified Tester or relevant testing certifications would be a plus.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA Testing is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile project teams.
- Familiarity with performance testing and load testing in SAP environments.
- Knowledge of testing SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in SAP and testing methodologies are a plus.
