Ccna Trainer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CCNA and Cybersecurity Fundamentals Trainer to provide high-quality training for aspiring IT professionals. This role involves teaching networking concepts broadly on the lines of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) curriculum, and fundamental concepts of cybersecurity to our fresh recruits.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and hands-on experience with networking, along with working knowledge of security and operating systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on network fundamentals, routing and switching, IP addressing, and network security.
• Teach cybersecurity fundamentals, such as threat analysis, encryption, security concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, proxy, IDS/IPS, etc., configuration, and ethical hacking principles.
• Design, develop, and update curriculum materials, training modules, presentations, and practical lab exercises.
• Provide practical demonstrations of network configuration, management, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Incorporate the latest technologies, tools, and best practices into training materials.
• Develop quizzes, tests, and hands-on labs to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Offer constructive feedback to students on their performance, helping them to improve both theoretically and practically.
• Track student progress and provide guidance for their certification preparation.
• Maintain and manage the necessary arrangements for practical exercises and network labs.
• Ensure that lab exercises are designed to simulate real-world network environments.

Required:

• Minimum 1-3 years of professional training experience in networking and/or cybersecurity.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is required.
• Additional cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and network security tools are highly desirable.
