Job Description
- Experience in leading the development of all testing needs for all embedded systems, including design validation, production validation and agency certification.
- Developing experience in-product embedded C code for test support.
- To develop desktop-based test tools and frameworks for testing embedded software and hardware.
- Should be able to prepare and execute test cases (manual and automation test cases) by understanding the requirements.
- Experience with a variety of integrated development environments.
- Manage defect tracking and reporting.
- Develop and perform regression and release tests.
- Create and maintain test documentation (procedures, tools, and artifacts, etc )
- Work with hardware team to define and create manufacturing tests for electrical hardware and software.
- Experience with DevOps, automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Software life cycle experience from product conceptual development to servicing and root-causing fielded product issues.
Preferred Experience:
- Good Programming knowledge Python, Shell scripts.
- Good Experience in Linux based systems, Good to have knowledge in Embedded C.
- Experience in Jenkins / Dockers / Squish / Zephyr.
Education:
- B.E / B.Tech in ECE / CS.
