Senior Qa Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manual test cases creation and execution.
• Bug identification and reporting.
• Make efficient use of bug tracking systems and generate detailed test reports that can help development teams understand root cause and improve overall quality.
• Documenting work according to best industry practices.
• Good hands-on experience in bug tracking and bug management tools.
• Inputs to development and QA team for product and process enhancement.
• Read through requirement and design documentation and identify test scenarios for testing.
• Write quality test scenarios and follow QA process and standards.
• Achieve comprehensive test coverage by understanding the test scope.
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code to find the root cause of the issues and provide detailed information to the development team.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify and recommend test approach improvements.
• Proactively bring issues and problems to the attention of the team, generate and propose solutions.
• Ability to act on the information provided or get information needed so that decisions for project implementations can be made quickly and effectively.
• Experience in preparing and executing test cases and QA process knowledge.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of SDLC.
• Experience in testing Games, Applications, UI etc.
• Ability to analyze complex test scenarios.
• QA processes, bug cycle.
