Key skills for the job
1. Business Reviews
- Preparation of the financial deck for units performance reviews.
- Coordinate with the business segments/cross functional team for the respective reviews
- Timely review of MIS before deadlines
- Prepare MOM and follow up with the stakeholders for the completion of the action points
2. Budgeting and control
- Preparation of annual and monthly budgets
- Tracking actual performance against budgets
- Analysis of variances with Supply chain, Manufacturing and commercial & other cross functional stakeholders
3. Capex & Opex Controls
- Tracking/Reporting of all expenses v/s Budget
- Capital expenditure: Tracking actual v/s budget for the year and reporting actual spends
4. Working Capital Monitoring
- Analysis of Key WC indicators (Inventory Turns, DSO, AP/AR/Inventory ageing reviews)
- Inventory monitoring including analysis of Slow moving/Non- moving inventories, monitoring consumption & reviewing RM, MRO, Spares, WIP & FG inventory levels
5. Profitability Tracking
- Support in driving Cost Agility Projects
- Tracking profitability improvement plans
6. Project Evaluation
- Prepare financial evaluation reports for a new Project / Business proposals/ Capex.
- Maintain and develop financial models and standard templates for use by all of Finance during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review
- Support the preparation of the business cases
- Prepare Sensitivity analysis
- Evaluation of the actual returns and performance v/s the Business case
- Support the review of the Project KPI periodically
7. Risk Management & internal control
- Ensuring adequate insurance coverage of companys risks
- Filing of insurance claims
- Timely settlement of insurance claims
- Partnering with internal audit team for timely completion of internal audit and ensuring implementation of remedial actions of internal audit report
- Coordination with all key stakeholders for timely closure
8. General Accounting & Compliance
Candidate should possess sound accounting knowledge including GL scrutiny & reconciliation, Inventory & Consumption review, Capex review including AUC/CWIP accounts, Intercompany Transactions, Revenue recognition, Expenditure treatment as per IND-AS
