Software Testing Engineer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Planning and Strategy : Develop test plans, strategies, and test cases based on software requirements and specifications for both the C++ HFT platform and GUI Interfaces.

2. Test Execution : Execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of the trading platform across different scenarios and use cases.

3. Regression Testing : Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.

4. Automated Testing : Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.

5. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with developers to resolve them in a timely manner.

6. GUI Testing : Perform GUI testing to ensure that the user interfaces are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing.

7. Business Logic Testing : Verify the correctness of business logic and algorithmic components within the trading platform to ensure accurate and reliable trading operations.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in software testing, preferably in a high-frequency trading or financial software environment.

- Strong proficiency in testing C++ applications, GUI interfaces, and verifying business logic.

- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, pytest, Google Test).

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
