Job Description
- About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security professional to lead the operations of our Endpoint Security platform
- The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day functioning of endpoint protection solutions, ensure efficient response to security incidents, oversee deployment and updates, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain a robust security posture
- This role involves both technical expertise and leadership skills to drive operational excellence
- Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:Lead the daily operations and management of the organizations Endpoint Security platforms (eg
- , EDR, XDR, AV solutions)
- Monitor the health, performance, and effectiveness of endpoint security tools, ensuring uninterrupted protection and availability
- Oversee the implementation of security patches, updates, and configuration changes across endpoint devices
- Incident Response & Monitoring:Investigate and respond to endpoint security incidents in coordination with the SOC and Incident Response teams
- Conduct root cause analysis and ensure remediation of vulnerabilities on endpoints
- Fine-tune and update detection rules and response playbooks to improve incident handling capabilities
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:Manage and mentor a team of endpoint security administrators
- Collaborate with other security, IT, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of endpoint security within the broader cybersecurity framework
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and deploy new features or upgrades
- Platform Optimization:Analyze security logs, reports, and metrics to optimize endpoint protection capabilities
- Drive the continuous improvement of endpoint security configurations, policies, and procedures
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing security tools and solutions
- Compliance & Reporting:Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security standards
- Generate detailed reports on the state of endpoint security, incidents, and operational performance for senior management
- Key Competencies:Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent team management and mentoring capabilities
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity
