Job Description for Product Data Management Activity Design support for Automotive Plastics and Sheet Metal
Brackets
Education Training:
B.E (Mechanical / Production),
Relevant Experience Required:
About 2-4 years of experience in Product Data Management (Release and Engineering Change Management) and know
how of Product Design Development in Automotive Plastics and Sheet Metal components/Brackets Must have had
worked with Global Companies (German OEMs/Tier 1s preferred)
Skill Requirements:
1. Knowhow of Product Data Management (Release) Activity,
2. Knowledge of Change Management, Variants Control BOM management
3. Experience in Daimler Norms and DBL standards, DIALOG and SMARAGD will be an advantage
4. Experience on Packaging, Design of Automotive Plastic/ Sheet metal components
5. Intercultural Experience: Minimum one years of Onsite experience or working exposure in Europe/ European clients.
Must be able to interact with the German teams.
6. German Language will be an added advantage.
7. Must be a Team Player; should have the attitude to work with the team also shoulder individual responsibility
wherever needed
8. Microsoft office skills with good Excel knowledge, power point presentation
9. Knowhow of Tooling / Manufacturing / Prototyping
10. Know how CAD Software Unigraphics NX/ Catia and Teamcenter
Job Responsibilities:
0. Releasing the Electronics Mechanical Parts through PLM Tool Support in Change Management
1. Co-ordination Technical Reviews with onsite Engineers Cross functional departments
2. Supplier Data (2D 3D) Validation and uploading in PLM
3. Perform Product Data Management tasks based on customer requirement
4. Design and Development support of Automotive Plastic Sheet metal components/Brackets using Unigraphics NX as
per requirement
5. Seamless integration with the Team in India Germany
6. Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
