Job Description
Experience Requirements
1. Minimum 5 to 10 year of experience in the area of Diesel/Gasoline Engine Development with Automotive OEM. Experience with MNC preferred. Prior experience with German OEM/organization is a strong plus.
2. Basic knowledge of Internal Combustion Engine components and sub-systems
3. Extensive experience in Component Validation on engine/ Component engineering/ Product development
4. Should have knowledge of new product development process lifecycle
5. Exposure to supplier interaction, supplier engagement and negotiations is preferred
6. Good know-how of test requirements and testing process
7. Experience of problem solving and root cause analysis
8. Exposure to engine tear down and assessment of component wear is preferred
9. Good presentation and documentation skills
10. Should be a quick learner and a team player.
11. Ability to work under challenging situations
12. Knowledge of German language is an added advantage
13. International Experience is a strong plus
Job Description
1. New supplier development for Afterseries components
2. Supplier audits in co-ordination with the RD and MP colleagues
3. New raw material suggestion for the existing components
4. Suggest the component level testing and validate the results
5. Engineering documentation of the Afterseries parts in Dialog and Smaragd
6. Coordinate with various stakeholders (GCSP Logistics, MP, Suppliers etc) to make sure the parts reach to various markets based on the demand
7. Participation in various Technical Meetings (Gremiums) based on the need
Suggestion of reman or alternate components to benefit the customers in-turn supporting customer retention
Qualifications
Educational qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech
