Job Description

Relevant Experience Required:

  • Should Costing/Zero Based Calculation for Sheet Metal and Plastic Commodity.
  • Manufacturing Process Knowledge of Stamping, Plastic, Hoses, Aluminium Pipe Domain.
  • Knowledge of Stamping, Welding, Injection Moulding.
  • Understand overall manufacturing/part development activities.
  • Ability to read part drawings.
  • Awareness of Cost factors in Product/Part Costing.
  • Proficient Knowledge of Excel.
  • OEM Work experience.
  • Engineering Change Management (for modifications or new part development)
  • Make Or Buy Analysis
  • Analyse Supplier RFQs (Technical & Commercial).
  • Preferred Software Skills - NX, SMARAGD, SCHMALE, TACO, Any cost Evaluation Software.

    • Job Responsibilities:

  • REC & Tooling /Fixture/Gauges Calculation
  • Cost estimation and cost management analysis.
  • Manufacturing Feasibility discussion with suppliers.
  • Price negotiation with the best available manufacturing process.
  • Interacting with Overseas team, commodity members for successful project execution.
  • Ensure on-time deliverable for the projects.
    • Qualifications
    B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E - Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, Production Engineering.
