Position: General Manager (Automotive Manufacturing & Supply Chain)

Location: Chakan, Pune

Experience: 8-15 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Control: Oversee Production Planning, Scheduling and Control to ensure capacity utilization and achievement of production targets.
• Material Flow & Logistics: Manage material flow, vendor relations, and internal logistics to ensure smooth operations.
• Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain process and establish strong relationships with suppliers/vendors to ensure quality and reliability of materials. Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support business growth.
• Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with export/import processes and maintain high-quality standards in line with Mercedes-Benz AG guidelines.
• Production Operations: Oversee one of the production area from Bodyshop or Assembly hall
• Strategic Initiatives: Lead digital and strategic projects aimed at process enhancement and future readiness.
• Stakeholder Management: Interface with Sales Planning in India and CKD Organization at HQ to align production with sales requirements.
• Long-term & Short-term Planning: Develop and implement both long-term and short-term production and supply chain plans.
• People Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Leadership Duties:

• Team Management: Lead and motivate the Production and Operations team, ensuring effective work allocation and performance management.
• Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Training & Development: Ensure continuous training and development of team members to enhance skills and capabilities.
• Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
