- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and surpass sales targets for assigned territory.
- Prospect and identify qualified leads within the designated area, utilizing various lead generation techniques.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations.
- Understand client needs and challenges, and effectively present customized project solutions that deliver value.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, project management) to ensure a seamless sales and project delivery experience.
- Oversee and participate in project scoping and proposal development, ensuring alignment with client requirements and profitability.
- Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in sales strategies.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of proven success in a B2B sales role
- A demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex project deals.
- Strong understanding of project sales methodologies and the ability to manage the entire sales cycle effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify sales trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
