General Manager - Steel Fabrication Factory

We're seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our Steel Fabrication factory operations, ensuring efficient management of production planning, Stores, Bill passing, HR, administration, accounts and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall factory operations, including production, quality control, and maintenance
• Manage stores, including inventory control, procurement, and logistics
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
• Supervise HR, administration, and finance functions, including bill passing and accounting
• Develop and implement production plans, ensuring timely delivery of products
• Liaise with government departments, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
• Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement and development

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in a steel fabrication factory, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
• Proven experience in managing SME companies, preferably in the steel fabrication industry
• Strong knowledge of production planning, operations, and compliance
• Experience in stores management, bill passing, and accounting, HR, Administration etc
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with government departments and regulatory bodies
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• B. Tech Mechanical preferred
