Accounts Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee various financial functions, ensuring timely and accurate management of accounts, tax filings, and compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, experience in managing accounts processes, and be proficient in SAP FI module operations. You will be responsible for ledger scrutiny, monthly account closures, tax compliance, and supporting auditors while maintaining the integrity of financial records.

• Ledger Scrutiny: Regular review and reconciliation of ledger entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
• Payment Review: Ensure all payments are processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Monthly Closure of Accounts: Manage the month-end closing process to ensure all entries are recorded correctly and financial statements are prepared on time.
• Annual Finalization of Accounts: Oversee the year-end finalization of accounts and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• GST Compliance: Compile GST-related details, ensuring accurate GST reporting and reconciliation and file GST returns on time and manage GST audit queries.
• Support to Auditors: Provide necessary documentation and support to both internal and external auditors during the audit process.
• FAR Control (Fixed Asset Accounting): Maintain accurate records for fixed assets, ensure proper capitalization, and account for depreciation.
• SAP FI Module Operational Knowledge: Utilize SAP FI module for day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring smooth and accurate data entry, report generation, and process control.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree (B. Com) or Master’s degree (M. Com) in Commerce or a related field.
• CA Inter or equivalent qualification is a plus

• Experience:
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with a strong background in accounts management and financial reporting.

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SAP FI module and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and other financial compliance matters.
