Senior Finance Manager (5-6 yrs)

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our finance team.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing financial planning, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making.

- Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reviews.

- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business performance, identify trends, and support long-term strategic planning.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating with accounting teams to deliver financial results.

- Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with financial policies.

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.

- Lead efforts to optimize working capital by managing receivables, payables, and inventory levels.

- Develop cash flow forecasts to ensure the business can meet its financial obligations and make informed decisions on capital expenditures.

Cost Control & Optimization:

- Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement across the organization.

- Provide strategic recommendations on cost control measures to maximize profitability without compromising operational effectiveness.

- Collaborate with department heads to track spending and optimize the cost structure.

Financial Strategy & Business Partnering:

- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that align with strategic objectives.

- Support senior management in evaluating potential investment opportunities and assessing the financial viability of new projects.

- Contribute to strategic decision-making by providing financial modeling, ROI analysis, and risk assessments for business initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.

- Provide guidance on financial reporting, analysis, and best practices, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.

- Promote continuous development and learning within the finance team to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with senior leadership to communicate financial results, forecasts, and business implications.

- Present financial performance data to stakeholders and external parties (e., investors, banks, auditors) as needed.

- Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

- CPA, CFA, MBA, or other advanced certifications preferred.

Experience:

- 5-6 years of experience in financial management, financial planning and analysis, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance processes.

- Experience working in a multinational or large-scale corporate environment is a plus.
